Oliver Quek

Oliver Quek began his legal career in 1998 as a civil and commercial litigator with the Singapore law firm Rodyk & Davidson. In his years with the law firm, he was involved in court trials, mediations and arbitrations. He was made Senior Legal Associate in 2001 in recognition of his various achievements.
In 2002, Oliver Quek was appointed Legal Counsel for the Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR), the government department for scientific research and development in Singapore. Thereafter, he was appointed Adjunct Lecturer at the National University of Singapore. He took charge of legal and commercial matters pertaining to A*STAR’s intellectual property, technology licensing, technology transfer and research and development collaborations.
In 2003, Oliver Quek was convinced to take up the challenge of setting up Oliver Quek & Associates to meet the real demand for integrated, seamless and responsive legal services free from bureaucratic red-tape. Oliver Quek’s background, experience and multi-faceted skills more than equipped him to provide such assistance.
At present, Oliver Quek continues his legal practice in Singapore and primarily assists and consults for companies seeking to establish themselves in Singapore from diverse places across the globe including India, China, Vietnam, United Kingdom, Germany and the British Virgin Islands.
